This website is about my Jabiru J430 project. I finished the building in September 2007 and the aircraft now has 190 hours of flying on it. (as at April 2010)
Much of this website is related to the build or rather areas where I had to work through problems I had in the construction. Some is related to tweaks and touch ups I have made since completing the build.
A large amount is related to how I did the basic house keeping stuff:
Where I built it; What I used; Where I got help and How I got around problems.
Some of the pages relate to the tweaks and fixes and additions I have made since I have had it flying.
Some pages are almost redundant: The Manuals relates to the old Jabiru manuals which have been now completely revamped , but I leave the old pages in case someone with the old manuals wants to see how I coped.
A number of pages relate to addition I have made since completing the build.
Autopilot is still under construction as Ihave just completed the autopilot installation (April 2010) and am still tweaking that.
In September 2009 I had a disagreement with gravity, and gravity won. Go to the "Oops" section.
In two years of flying there have been a few issues that have arisen. I deal with them on the "Now Flying" Pages.
But first - What do I like about my Jabiru - now that she is flying!
